This year we'll be concentrating on the Johnny Five Inventor's Kit (J5IK), which includes the Tessel 2. If you have your own hardware you can still follow along with our inventor's guide or make your own invention. We'll have volunteers on site to help you work though whatever challenges your projects present.
We've partnered with ScriptEd to help provide tickets to their students. ScriptEd equips students in under-resourced schools with the fundamental coding skills and professional experiences that together create access to careers in technology. And we can't think of a better way to do that then giving them a Kit and teaching them how to control the physical world. You can donate towards providing a ticket when you check out.
Lunch and space are being provided by Meetup.com, who thinks robots are awesome and can't wait to see what you make.
Johnny-Five is a great place to get started if you want to get familiar before an event.
So come join us and solve a problem, play with hardware or learn something new!
